Project 365.45: Breakfast Nook
Yesterday I took all my books off this shelf from my office and hauled it into the kitchen. I was in desperate need of some extra storage for cookbooks and non-cookware items. I simply couldn't find anything within my budget that I liked better, so for now, this will work. (Don't get me wrong, there was plenty out there that I liked much better than this...if only I could win the lottery!)
I will just pretend not to notice that the color of the shelf makes my kitchen cabinets look rather pink. (Ugh...I hate the cabinets in my house - they had already been ordered when I went into contract on it and it would have set back closing by over a month if I had changed them. Not to mention it also would have cost me more to have them changed out then than it would to just replace them someday.)
On a windy Day...
I took this as a challenge...shooting this little drop on a passionflower stamen which was going up and down and back and forth on a grey and very windy day...today! This was the best I could get out of it :o) I hope you like it anyhow.
